Extremely Efficient- Most heaters will turn on at 100% output until the set temperature is reached. Then they shut off until an assigned lower temperature is detected, at which point they turn back on at 100%. 

The Advantage heater is a modulating heater which means that it will automatically provide the minimum amount of heat required to maintain the water set temperature. With an output from 13,200 BTU up to 120,000 BTU, the Advantage Heater will hold your pond within 1 degree Fahrenheit at all times. No matter what the outside temperature is!  Modular heating saves on fuel which is how the Advantage Heater achieves a 95% Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE ) rating.

Dual Temperature Controls- It can be dangerous for koi to experience more than a 10 degree change in a day. The Dual Temperature Controls protect your pond from ever overheating due to any failure where the heater keeps running. Use the green controller to set your desired pond temperature. Setting the Critically High red controller 5 degrees above your desired pond temperature will shut off power to the heater if it is ever reached, thus ensuring the continued safety of your koi.
