I apologize I'm days late getting this to you- better intentions. Your reorder quickly processed for the Pentair UV 40W light that originally arrived broken in two, inside of a 5ft Uline heavy shipping tube arrived this past Tuesday, I believe.
This one was equally packed for war with UPS shipping: A 6" square, five foot long heavy box; inside that a heavy cardboard triangular box of equal length surrounded by crumpled paper padding; inside that- one of your usual 2" hard shipping tubes and inside that the bubble wrapped UV light. It arrived fine this time; a bomb proof shipping container wouldn't have been much better... ha.
I appreciate the extra care and effort to turn around and reship quickly. I believe what happened on the first order is one of the small shipping tube end caps was not secured/taped on and it popped off and dropped inside the larger Uline shipping tube, and when the lamp slipped out and hit bottom that was it.
